Blinded by the Light is a 2019 British comedy-drama film directed by Gurinder Chadha. It is inspired by the life of journalist Sarfraz Manzoor and his love of the works of Bruce Springsteen. When the majority of us are running after or are in search of happiness, there are a few souls on Earth, who are running away from joy or are in search of sadness in order to avoid triggering sudden muscular weakness, paralysis or postural collapse caused by emotions such as laughter, sorrow or terror. For Charlie, it is joy that causes him to fall apart within seconds, makes you wonder how delicate and simple life is.
