Is there any scope for improvement?
Yes, there is a good scope of improvement in how we gather and make notes about our student for creating a student or learning profile and develop an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each student under our care. The idea is to give you a solid baseline that you can build upon based on your understanding and experience, share our experience in the art of teaching and learning and enable you to create meaningful learning experiences for your students. We encourage you adapt or modify the documents or formats and plan to suite the needs of your student, educational setting and inclusion policy.

Notes | Suggestions:

- Modifications can be made in the Individualized Education Plans and Format based on your student’s need, goals and intervention strategies picked for the child.

- For Quick Reference, we have added Comments to the plan. Please feel free to use the plan with or without the comments, once you get familiarized with the terms|ideas used in the plan.

- If you are able to achieve the learning outcome set for the child, you can move forward, prepare a new lesson plan and work on the next learning objective for the child. Or if you feel you need to work on the same learning objective again with the child, you can do so by modifying or adding new activities to the same lesson plan based on the child’s response and your reflections instead of creating a new lesson plan for the same learning objective in the interest of time. Repeating the same activity (with or without variations) and new activities (based on the same learning objective) will help cement the child’s understanding and recall.

- To all passionate educators out there! We would like to hear or see your ideas in action too. Unleash your creativity and share your ideas or views with us.
