Quote "'Fight
Song' was inspired by a lot of experiences that were hurting me and
that were making me feel like maybe I didn’t have a chance in this
industry. I wrote it because I needed to remind myself that I believed
in myself. No matter what, I still was gonna make music, even if it was
on a small scale. Even if it was just for me." --Rachel Platten Song Details Song Name: Fight Song Singer: Rachel Ashley Platten Writers: Rachel Ashley Platten and Dave Richard Bassett Album: Wildfire Label: Columbia Records Producer: Jon Levine Song Lyrics Like a small boat On the ocean Sending big waves Into motion Like how a single word Can make a heart open I might only have one match But I can make an explosion And all those things I didn't say Wrecking balls inside my brain I will scream them loud tonight Can you hear my voice this time This is my fight song Take back my life song Prove I'm alright song My power's turned on (Starting right now) I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes 'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me Losing friends and I'm chasing sleep Everybody's worried about me In too deep Say I'm in too deep (I'm in too deep) And it's been two years I miss my home There's a fire burning in my bones I still believe Yeah I still believe And all those ... fight left in me Like a small ... make an explosion This is my fight song ... fight left in me Now I've still got a lot of fight left in me. Personal Reflection All
of us have dreams but only a few among us show the courage and will to
go after their dreams. Why is it that only a few among us are able to
steer through storms and failures to achieve their dreams? Do they have
some kind of special powers? No. They don't have any kind of special
powers. They are able to achieve their dreams because of their
commitment to their dreams. Always remember Never Ever Give Up On Your
Dreams. Song Video

The transition from high school to college can be a scary process. But with clear thinking and proper planning it can turn out to be an exciting adventure. It is an important phase in your life as a student that gives you an opportunity to discover your own self and your destiny. The efforts and choices you make during this transition and beyond will help build your ever glowing future.
As a recent college graduate I would suggest the following things to consider before taking this daring plunge into a sea full of opportunities. 1. Go for your passion. Select a course or subject that you like or enjoy tackling, no matter how challenging or odd it may seem. Go for arts if you like arts; go for aeronautical engineering if you like rocket science. Having your passion as your driving force will help you overcome every challenge you face along the way. 2. Select a good college. Think thrice before selecting a college to pursue your degree. Research, both on-line and off-line, shortlist and select a college that best fits your passion and career expectations. 3. Participate, learn and grow. Never miss an opportunity to participate in competitions. Make mistakes and learn from your mistakes. Participate in workshops and seminars related to your field of study. Participate in cultural and sports activities to keep your spirits pumped up. 4. Utilize your summer and winter breaks. Breaks are fun as well as a potential source for self improvement and development. Enroll in on-line courses (MOOCs) and gain work experience through internships. It will give you an opportunity to learn new skills while having fun at the same time. 5. Everybody is special. Always remember each one of us is unique and special in some way or the other. Let go of the fear of failure or acceptance. Our planet is known for its diversity. Try and be who you are. Every weirdo, every geek, every introvert, every extrovert is equally important and special. Be true to your own self. 6. Enjoy learning and Never Ever Give Up. Knowledge is valuable and powerful. Lessons learned and knowledge gained during college days will help shape your future. No matter how hard the journey may seem never give up on your dreams and ambitions. Plan well, let go of the fear, be unique, explore, discover and shine on. Please feel free to share, reflect and comment on the above post.
