Reflection Over the years, I have begun to question everything I see, hear or read. Memories fade away, a lot gets lost in translation and what we see, perceive and infer defers from person to person. God is true love and it's hard for me to believe or see God in any other form. God, rather true love, exists. It is that inevitable and invincible force that lights our way. And if we believe in this force (or see it in the form of a divine being or divine beings, whether as a man or as a woman or as a spirit with no form), we tend to see miracles all around us. It is what we believe in or how we see the world that makes all the difference. I invite you to watch 'The Da Vinci Code' with an open mind (not as the word of truth but as a thought provoking movie). Have we bound our divine beings based on our society's perception of what is right or wrong ? or based on our beliefs about how divine beings should be ?

Reflection I can never justify the act of taking one's own life ever. But, I feel it's important to understand or consider the reasons why someone slips into this unfortunate path. With social media taking over our lives, peer pressure and need for social acceptance have reached new heights. It is imperative for parents, teachers and students to understand how it is affecting our minds; understand how our words and actions may affect others, be considerate of each other's feelings and support them in due time.
Life is hard. It will try to pull you down in some way or the other and it is natural to feel broken or lost. We must not give up no matter how bad it seems. The challenge is to fight it and figure out a way back into life.

Reflection There are some stories that help us realize how fortunate we are and all our problems or shortcomings appear smaller under it's glow. In the name of fairness, we created a system where money doesn't grow on trees (or fall off from trees), we have to earn it. It is one of those stories that makes us question, what is right or wrong ? Do we take into account the circumstances or context to figure out what is ethical and what is not ? Or is it unjustified to determine what is ethical and what is not under the umbrella of context ? Why is the gap between the fortunate and less fortunate increasing with time ?
