As a special educator we are always in pursuit of crafting Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals that truly meet our students' needs and challenges. In this video, we’ll explore how we can use AI tools like Google Gemini to generate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals for our students. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of using Gemini to generate Annual and Short Term Goals for an imaginary student in Reception or Kindergarten (Early Years Foundation Stage) based on the SMART Framework (Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant and Time Bound Goals Framework). We also try to explore and see if Gemini can map or link the goals generated by it to the Early Learning Goals & Competencies described in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS Framework) and Development Matters Guidelines pertaining to the National Curriculum of UK.
