Zachary David "Zach" Sobiech (May 3, 1995 – May 20, 2013) was an American folk rock singer-songwriter. At age 14, Sobiech was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer which mostly strikes children. He started writing music after his diagnosis. Sobiech recorded the song "Clouds" about his battle with cancer, and released it as a You Tube video in December 2012. Sobiech died on May 20, 2013 of complications from osteosarcoma, at his home in Lakeland, an eastern suburb of Saint Paul, Minnesota, at age 18.

I can only imagine the pain, the heartbreak, the struggle that Zach and his family went through after being informed of his condition. What if your Doctor tells you that you have only one year to live...What will you do to make the most out of the time you have left ?
